New Yarn

I just got some new yarn in the mail from Lynda today! LOVE the colors!

I liked how this one looks on my mom's quilt!

These particular yarns are hand dyed by my friend Maria who I met in McCall. Here's a link to some more Hand Dyed 100% super wash wool yarns. Theyre soooo soft! I'm hooked!

Skip-py the Jiff

Some of you may know that I'm an adamant Skippy Super Chunk eater, even if it means toting around an extra Jar of PB. Some of you may have even heard my endless debates/arguments with my cousin Jennifer about which is better! So...my point...I was a little shocked, and maybe mortified to find this in my parents kitchen.

Project Updates

I didn't have a whole lot of time, or the internet to post some of the projects I've done lately so here are two:

I made these pillow cases with my mom when I was home after the Hawaii trip. I really liked the fabric line a lot!

This was one of the panels, folded in half.

The fabric I used for the cuff is called peas and carrots!!

This one is the end of the fabric pannel inserted into the cutest floral M.E. Print! I put two colors in between the cuff and the main piece because I liked the polka dot but wanted the yellow to break up all the blue!

Home Sweet Home

I arrived home in Fresno on Wednesday, August 20th. Luke and I had gone to see his family in Medford for a couple days, so I only had to drive from Medford, OR(More details and pictures from that segment and some of my knitting projects to come.) Before I got into town I got to stop in at my dad's office in Madera and suprise him! He didn't know I would be coming by!
