Josh and Jen

We enjoyed a wonderful celebration of the marriage of our "bonus family" Josh and Jen! 

My sister and I have married into two fantastic families and we love that we can share our in-laws as well! 

It was fun bonus sister time for me as well! 

 This wedding was infused with Jen and Josh's wit and humor, as seen in "A Dummy's Guide to This Wedding," pictured below.

I studied it carefully....what does that make me? 

 We got to look at Jen and Josh in this inverted ceremony set up.

 The famous family cookie recipes were show cased at this decadent cookie buffet!

 They were delicious. 

 My BiL Matt dancing with his sister Jen! She had that smile on ALL night! It was fabulous!

Happy...Anniversary!

Let me remind everyone that I am not, nor have I ever been, good with dates. So when my dreamboat husband showed up on the last day of school toting beautiful flowers why wouldn't I thank him for the last day of school flowers. Then. When he smirkingly asked me if I remembered what the day was I scrunched my face, smacked my forehead and remembered it was our anniversary. There's one for the books folks. 

Then that chivalrous guy told me that he had help as a couple with our same anniversary had been out to eat dinner at the club the night before so he had help. I felt better. He went on to tell me of the triumph of winning a stem if hydrangea (my favorite) from the florist as they had all been designated for the next days wedding. What a guy. I should marry him.

Oh wait.  I did. On May 21st. Someone please remind me next year. Let pray it's not on the last day of school again. 

Funny Friday- Keegan

I must say, I've saved the best for last on this one.

As you can see in the picture above Jenny and I are laughing out loud at that one! Keegan is a crack up!

Funny Friday-Scott Z and Tyler P

Both went to high school with Luke in Oregon. Neither were actually at the wedding. Somehow they ended up making comics for us. Tyler P's is particualrly funny becaue he makes use of my past with World of Warcraft. My suspcions? Jacob, Craig and Kyle. :)

Funny Friday- Mark Party Crasher

Mark Party Crasher. That's all it said on the back. I have two gueses though since this crasher knew about my special interest in things that come in every color. Guess one: My Uncle Mark (who I hear reads my blog and doesn't comment) Guess Two: My new Brother-in-Law Mark who I dont think reads my blog but knows about my infatuation. So Mark Party Crasher....if you're reading this take credit where credit taking is due! These are funny!

Funny Friday- Debbie

Debbie is and has been one of my honorary moms. From being the camp nurse pulling out splinters (and storing our candy) to telling us TMI as she drove us to school shes been there for longer than I can remember! Extra info: Debbie is Emilie's mom and has ALSO been to Forks, WA for the Twilight tour. Jealous x 2!!!

Funny Friday- Amanda

Amanda (Right) is the final member in Luke's IBC group to be posted and is certanly not the least! Melanie and Amanda were roomates 2 (maybe 3) out of their four years in college and were one of our favorite "couples" to go to dinner with! They converse like they've grown up together and are each other's halves. Amanda continues to impress as she played on the U of I Womens Golf Team and speaks Japanese! She is using her Japanese skills in Japan as I type to teach English for a year.

Funny Friday- Melanie

Melanie (left) was also in Luke's business college group for two years and has become a fast friend to both of us. From the first time I met her and she offered the use of  her shower knowing I was staying at Luke's 4 boy apartment at which the bathroom was...less than stellar, I knew she was a kindred spirit. Melanie and her roomate (business partner as well) Amanda joined us for many family style dinners and breakfast's in Luke and Marks apartment in the second year. Making for some of the best company. I'm thinking she must also be a California girl at heart because this summer she landed an internship in San Jose *and is looking to find a full time position in the area.

Funny Friday-Cody

Cody was one of Luke's suite mates when we met and is dating Kelsi, my old suite mate. He did the Professional Golf Management program with Luke and was also in his business college group throughout the two year program.

Funny Friday- John

John is Luke's dad. (Just in case you weren't sure. Fun Fact: When John went to the University of Idaho he spent some time living in the residence hall Galt. Galt and Upham were big time rivals. The funny part, Luke and Jessica were both living in Upham the year they met! (Granted they were newly remodeled buildings with the old residence hall names but still, kind of funny.)

Funny Friday- Abbey

Abbey is Lukes Cousin Jason's daughter. We'll call her Luke's cousin for convienience sake. Abbey was one of our wonderful flower girls and a fun fact about her:

She can touch her nose with her tounge too! It's now one of our favorite dinner entertainment tricks!

Funny Friday- Kelsi

Kelsi was one of my suitemates during my exchange at the University of Idaho. She is probably most responsible for my relationship with Luke! Kelsi loooooooves the color pink and will be down in history books for her princess themed room freshman year. She also got Jenny and me heavily involved in residence hall government which led me to stay in Idaho for another semester as a Resident Assistant!

Funny Friday- Emilie

Emilie has been a good friend farther back than I can remember! Remember spaghetti Wednesdays?  Some Emilie trivia? She's going to Pharmacist School near Portland, OR and has been on the Twilight Tour in Forks, WA. Is anyone as jealous as me?

Funny Friday- Kyle M

This is Luke's friend Kyle. (Right) He, along with Craig and Jacob, made the trek from Eugene, OR where they attend to the "O" Duck school (I met them on the same trip Luke met Tristan and Jordan, and if anyone is going to introduce you to some great food in Eugene its gotta be them. I had the BEST calzone EVER!!! there.) Kyle graduated this June and a week later headed to South Africa where he got to be right in the middle of things for the World Cup!  He has a blog about it <here> and I encourage you to check it out!

Funny Friday- Jordan

Jordan married one of my friends since childhood and mentor since high school, Tristan.

They recently (more than 4 years ago now) moved to Salem OR where Jordan is a Youth Pasor. Tristan and Jordan were the first of my "family" to meet Luke on one of our firsts trips to Oregon. Compared to Fresno, Salem is just a hop skip and a jump to Moscow (or so it seems) and we're glad they could make it for the wedding!
